Derek,

Thank you very much. This really means a lot.

In response to your question...

"What if there was not enough time to answer 'what ifs' beforehand, that is, the situation appears suddenly when you least expect it?"

Great question.

Two things Derek.

First, that is the power and SOLE reason why we ask a 'What if'... Your mind gets to work on solving it.

Feed it the right information and you will not only solve it, but benefit from it later... That's what is considered 'second hand', 'natural'.

But feed it bad information and you not only won't solve it but there will be uncertainty and anxiety until you do.

Second, do you realize what you just asked?

"What if..."

Whatever the story your mind creates to answere this 'What if', directly impacts your feelings, thoughts and actions...

Get the right information as you are here and on the calls and you're half way to influencing your thoughts, feelings and actions to be exactely what you want.

So, let me leave you with this...

'What if... you were to go driving today twice as far as usual and...?

What if you get to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset and...?

What if you save some time today to read, relax, garden, ski, family time, play, etc? And...

What if you get to go visit someone you haven't seen in awhile and...?

What if you can get a better or different job because you're able to drive further or smarter with less fear and anxiety and...?

What if you meet someone new or make a new friend because you're going a different way and...?

What if making this choice will make my life easier, better, happier and...?

Hunter,

It is a good point you make about whatever story we let our minds create determines how we feel, think, and act. Especially with the words "what if."

I like how you say in one of your E-mail messages after the call how you choose to not think of the negative what ifs and think about the positive what ifs and the positive results it brought. It stopped other negative what ifs, it brought about even more positive what ifs and you were able to receive and give acknowledgenemt. This is something we could all do, choose to think of positive what ifs.

You mentioned during the call a matter of control of words and what they mean and that we all have different meanings for the same words. What I understand from that is that those meanings we choose to give those words determines how we feel and subsequently our actions. Does this mean also that we can choose to think positively or negatively about those words also? I just want to be absolutely clear on this point as I didn't quite fully understand it at first.

I knew my question was a what if question. I just worded it that way just for the purpose of addressing that specific point about not having enough time. Even so, the same point about what our minds choose to create directly influences our thoughts, feelings, and actions still applies.

I really enjoyed reading and learning about this topic from your E-mail messages and your blog. I would like to acknowledge you once again for your great work and your insights into this topic. I also acknowledge myself for having learned from this experience.

I look forward to continue learning. I shall be applying what I learned. I shall start thinking positive what ifs.

Keep up the great work!!!!!!!! You are providing a unique service. I feel honoured and privileged to be part of this wonderful experience!!!!!!!!

Sincerely,
Derek
